NorthShore University HealthSystem Highlights Importance of Preventative Health Screenings

"Early detection for cancer is important for a healthy lifestyle," says Dr. Daniel H. Shevrin, Director of the NorthShore University HealthSystem's Kellogg Cancer Care Center. "While we haven't cured cancer yet, we know that catching it early improves our ability to fight it. We want to build awareness on this issue and encourage people to 'Get Screened' for cancer and take action towards preventive health. It's a good thing!"
