Downtown Evanston will be bustling all day for the annual NorthShore University HealthSystem Grand Prix (formerly the ENH Grand Prix of Cycling). Get up close and personal with Olympics-level cyclists as they careen around the city streets clocking in at more than 30 mph.
Come early and visit the local shops on the course which starts at Fountain Square. Choose from 30+ restaurants and enjoy outdoor dining along the racecourse. Enjoy a live dance concert and bring the kids for their own bicycle race on Sunday afternoon before the pro series begins. Don't miss the main event: Pro Races Begin at 4:00 p.m.
Pro Cycling at Its Best
Evanston hosts Stage 10 of the U.S.'s largest multi-category cycling event, the 17-day-long Point Premium Root Beer International Cycling Classic™ bicycle race. After a full morning of serious amatuer races, the men's and women's pro cyclists come on the scene starting at 4pm. You'll be an arms-length from world-class, Olympic-level athletes competing for cash prizes and top honors.

This festival is free and packed with events and excitement all day long. Enjoy "al fresco" dining at 30+ restaurants along the course. Join the dance party and Kids Bike Race for ages 3 to 9 right on the main course! Visit the Festival Area for special raffles, give-aways and info about the great organizations participating in this exciting event.
